Fortuna Advisory Group’s Capacity to Service Regional Communities Grows with Acquisition of Douglas Cross and Chamberlain Accounting Firm in Geraldton

Fortuna Advisory Group (“Fortuna”) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Douglas Cross and Chamberlain Chartered Accountants (“DCCCA”) in Geraldton, with the official takeover completed on the 7th of October 2021.

Established by Greg Douglas, Steve Cross and Phillip Chamberlain, DCCCA has been operating for over 25 years; providing comprehensive accounting services, including tax assessments and superannuation. Specialising in primary production industries, DCCCA boasts extensive experience within the farming and fishing sectors.

DCCCA will continue to be managed by Partner Steve Cross, in conjunction with Dinesh Aggarwal; both parties operating as Directors. With this acquisition comes the retirement of Greg Douglas, Partner, DCCCA. To assist with management of the client base, a senior team member, Amit Sundrani, has been relocated from Perth to Geraldton to work alongside Steve.

This considered acquisition has assisted Fortuna to develop beyond its Perth and Carnarvon office, in Western Australia’s Gascoyne region, to now have a third established base in Geraldton.
