Manly, New South Wales: Acclaimed Photographer Tim Elwin (Urban Ripples) presents his Lines & Blurs Photography Exhibition, stretching reality via a twisted abstract mix of photography and digital art. Slip down a rabbit hole of low light, in a world on, in and around the ocean from Dawn til Dusk.
The series will be unveiled in Sydney at the Manly Life Saving Club from 8th December to 12th December 2022.

“This exhibition represents a time where dust stretched into dawn, with everything in-between just a blur.” - Tim Elwin

Tim applies biophilic properties, colour psychology, blue space, and saltwater therapy theories to his art to evoke specific emotions that drive specific behaviours. It was these types of images that helped him get out of a wheelchair after a severe motorcycle injury and back into the place that feeds his soul, the ocean. Tim’s art hangs on private and corporate walls around the globe.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Tim Elwin, an Australian Accredited Professional Photographer will be found mostly floating out at sea in the dark hours of dawn either with his camera, wishing he had his surfboard, or with his surfboard, wishing he had my camera. Thankful to be alive but left disabled from a horrific motorcycle accident in 2018, Tim’s connection with the water pushed him through rehabilitation to get him back on his feet & back into the water doing what he loves best, shooting the sunrise & those people who brave the often cold & windy waters at dawn to start their day in the most vigorous of ways!
Since getting back to his photography after the accident, Tim has received many accolades. He also produced and directed a short film called distressed which was highly successful in 2021 picking up 14 nominations and 4 awards on film festivals around the world unfortunately due to covid19, he was unable to attend any of the red carpet events around the world;
