icourts the First Partner to earn the Government Industry Competency from Relativity

Announcement posted by icourts 13 Jun 2022

icourts recognized for expertise in delivering services to government agencies and Royal Commissions in Australia and New Zealand

SYDNEY – 13, June 2022 – icourts, an APAC legal technology consultancy, today announced it has earned the Government Industry Competency from global legal and compliance technology company Relativity. Through this Competency, Relativity acknowledges that icourts has demonstrated proficiency and proven customer success in the government solution area. icourts is the first Relativity partner globally to earn the Government Industry Competency. With the Government Industry Competency, icourts has exhibited their knowledge of RelativityOne best practices for government-related cases and has proven customer satisfaction with state or federal agency work.

icourts has a depth of experience providing legal technology services to government agencies such as data hosting and migration, specialist consulting and advisory, and custom development. Government agencies have the responsibility to ensure regulatory compliance, investigate potential breaches and conduct high-profile hearings such as Royal Commissions, so the data volumes collected and reviewed by government agencies are typically massive. icourts understands that with the right deployment and support, RelativityOne is ideally placed to drive efficiencies across the government EDRM cycle.

“For over 25 years we have supported government agencies and Royal Commissions with digital evidence management and electronic courtroom solutions. Our experience has highlighted several unique requirements of government clients which we incorporate into every aspect of the engagement from the outset,” said Rebecca Grant, Founder and Executive Director at icourts. “We understand that security and data privacy is of paramount importance to government clients, so we are pleased to partner with RelativityOne as an IRAP assessed SaaS solution.”

Partners with the Government Industry Competency illustrate their expertise via a published government solution built for RelativityOne customers, at least four customer references on their government-specific work and published thought leadership content on the subject matter.

"We are thrilled that icourts is now the first RelativityOne partner to earn the Government Industry Competency for the organization’s outstanding work and commitment to providing a secure and compliant data management experience for the government agencies it works with,” said Georgia Foster, Senior Managing Director of APAC at Relativity. “The Relativity Community offers many advantages to our customers and partners, and we look forward to watching icourts continue to serve the community by providing specialized service offerings that suit the specific needs of their clients within Australia’s public sector.”

Relativity completed the Infosec Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) assessment against 'PROTECTED' controls for its cloud offering, RelativityOne in March. The assessment supports higher standards for security postures in technology systems used by government agencies in Australia. Relativity completed its IRAP assessment after an extensive review process conducted by a certified third party. The process is designed to seek out security weaknesses against a comprehensive set of standard controls that support more secure cloud environments for government data classified up to PROTECTED.
