StratosMedia, a global provider of Cloud ``connected out of home” solutions, digital signage and Wi-Fi services has announced its onboarding to Google’s Chrome Enterprise Recommended program today.
With a global sales reach and offices in Australia and North America, StratosMedia has been providing visual solutions including Digital Signage on Google’s Chrome OS devices since 2014. The StratosMedia service itself resides on Google’s Compute infrastructure.
StratosMedia is recognised as a leading, innovative, next generation SaaS platform with deep ties to the Google Ecosystem. It was the first solution provider back in 2018 to deliver both Digital Signage playback in conjunction with optical Gender and Age analysis of audience engagement, simultaneously from a single Chrome OS device.
Kiosk and Display network owners have been able to deliver their visual messaging and interactive experiences with the ability to then review insights gathered on their audience engagement. This is achieved by simply adding a USB camera to Chrome OS hardware and running the StratosMedia Player service.
Brian Hammett, CEO at StratosMedia commented, “We have been in partnership with Google now for coming up on a decade and we are extremely happy to be a part of the new Chrome Enterprise Recommended program. Many of our customers have experienced the benefits of a StratosMedia solution on Chrome OS. With hardware security and remote management delivered by Google, and StratosMedia’s content management and delivery, together we have created solutions which deliver outstanding outcomes and above expected returns on investment.”
StratosMedia has significant Google services integration built into its platform, delivering operational benefits to its clients. The ability to manage on-screen content via Google services such as Drive, Sheets and Calendar has improved operational efficiency for a multitude of clients globally.
Mr Hammett also remarked “these are exciting times. Google’s launch of the new Chrome OS Flex will further open the possibilities for end users when looking at hardware selection. Being able to cherry-pick best of breed hardware and to install Chrome OS Flex onto it will give end users more hardware options than ever before in the Chrome ecosystem. The fact that they will also be able to leverage enhanced hardware security and remote management via Google Chrome Enterprise, is simply brilliant”
