Kara Lambert to offer essential strategies to overcome fear and imposter syndrome at the Small Business Skills Summit 2022

Announcement posted by Kara Lambert 24 Jun 2022

Fear can get in the way of both individual ambition and business success, but there are strategies to stop the voice of doubt in your head, according to expert Kara Lambert.

Ms Lambert will be covering these strategies and more when she hosts an expert session at the Small Business Skills Summit this September on ‘Overcoming fear and imposter syndrome’.

Explaining business can be scary and often forces people outside their comfort zone, Ms Lambert notes being a business owner means having the skills to overcome self-doubt and get on with what you know you and your business are capable of.

“We are often confronted with situations we could never imagine. While you can have the skills and knowledge, what happens when you get in your head and your fear takes over?,” she asks.

Slated to run at 11am on September 19, Ms Lambert’s session will cover:

  1. What imposter syndrome really is and who gets it.
  2. Tools to help people handle fear so they can get on with the task at hand.
  3. Tools to free people from fear and imposter syndrome for good.

An engaging speaker, Ms Lambert’s in-depth understanding of psychology is married with her practical experience in management and business.

She focuses on the psychology behind business success and is passionate about helping business owners overcome the fears that hold them back.

Created by business owners for business owners, the Small Business Skills Summit is now in its fourth year and is designed to offer essential business skills and knowledge to the busy business owner.

The initiative is the brainchild of small business networking and resources group Business Business Business, with founders Clive Enever and Linda Reed-Enever explaining it harnesses some of the finest talent in the small business community.

“We are thrilled with the line-up of this event. Featuring 30 experts in 30 days, the presenters are each experts in their specific fields, they live and breathe the small business ethos,” Mr Enever said.

“They understand small business is busy, often all-consuming and incredibly rewarding, so they offer a no-nonsense skills-based approach.”

The summit offers participants the convenience of taking part online. They can tune in for daily sessions at 11am or purchase a VIP ticket to access four expert panel sessions along with all presentations after the event.

Topics covered range from sales, to legal, marketing and mindset.

“If you have a question about where your business is going or are looking to understand what to do next, this is the forum to assist,” Mr Enever said.

“There is literally something of value for every person in small business.”
