The latest venture of celebrated Irish-Australian Chef and TV personality Colin Fassnidge – The Castlereagh by Fassnidge – is about to get a new soundtrack every Thursday and Friday night. 

The Castlereagh joins in the area's efforts to continue breathing new life into Sydney’s CBD after dark, with Selectors digging deep into their bags of funk and soul flavoured faves every Thursday night from 8pm, and a host of Sydneys most much loved ivory tickling types taking the piano for a test drive on Friday nights from 8:30pm.

By Fassnidge Director Clayton Ries said although The Castlereagh by Fassnidge is already a fast favourite with workers returning to the CBD, the recently launched bistro will now take its offering to the next level with live entertainment on offer along with its gastronomic delights.  

“You never know which of Sydney’s best troubadour piano players may settle in for the night and work their way through a playlist of dirty blues and rock songs with a sprinkling of singalong numbers in our ‘Play it By Ear’ nights,’ he said. 

The Castlereagh at 199 Castlereagh Street in Sydney’s CBD is owned by The Tattersalls Group.
