Life Botanics has congratulated its market rival JS Health for its partnership with Australia’s biggest discount pharmacy announced yesterday which surprisingly, has not been revealed on JS Health’s social media channels, an unusual move for the brand and its Double Bay multi-millionaire founder Jessica Sepel, who is known to regularly post mundane updates on everything from which fluffy slippers and designer brands she’ll wear, which luxurious car she drives to the flash restaurants she frequents.
Senior Marketing Manager at Life Botanics Lauren Jones said the announcement that JS Health’s full range will now be stocked at Australia’s biggest discount pharmacy is a win for the consumer, who currently pays almost twice as much for the brand-taxed range, than they do for Life Botanics health and beauty vitamins. Life Botanics are half the price, use the exact same ingredients, are sold at Coles, are manufactured in Nowra in country NSW and are not subject to the same price-gouging of the JS range.
Lauren Jones says “We at Life Botanics welcome competition and since we entered the marketplace, it has become evident to consumers that they were previously overpaying, something I believe JS Health has been forced to acknowledge. In addition, following Life_Botanics announcing a $20,000 donation to Breast Cancer Network Australia, Jessica Sepel went so low as to claim the donation was a lie in her attempt to discredit both Life Botanics and the charity. Gerrard Peck, National Manager Major Gifts BCNA was disgusted at the attack from JS Health and gave Life Botanics his full support.
