Announcement posted by Logmaster 16 Aug 2022

Australia's National Heavy Vehicle Regulator has given regulatory accreditation to a new Australian business - Logmaster Australia. Logmaster’s mobile app based electronic work diary and fatigue compliance system is designed to assist transport businesses of all sizes to stay compliant with the fatigue rules while keeping drivers alert, safe, and legal whilst on the road.

The Logmaster system offers the trucking industry the most feature rich electronic work diary and fatigue compliance management capabilities in Australia.

"At Logmaster we are bringing the highest standard of safety and compliance digitalisation systems to the transport industry in Australia" said co-founder Josh Saunders.

Both Saunders and his co-founder Stewart Flecknoe-Brown have brought across their knowledge and technical experience working as senior operations managers for rideshare giant Ola. Logmaster Operations Manager Ian Johnson has also had extensive experience in this field and proven himself as an industry expert in developing compliance systems and consulting with transport regulators. The team is excited to bring their electronic work diary to market which is the first of many components to make the most complete transport safety management product in the industry.

Logmaster is a reg-tech SaaS business that retails their system via a network of technology and telematic sbusinesses and transport compliance experts. Logmaster offers users a more comprehensive, feature rich and affordable alternative to existing fatigue management and electronic work diary solutions,

Fatigue is one of the fatal five for a reason, with evidence from state authorities suggesting that around 20-30 per cent of all fatal and severe crashes involve fatigue.  Saunders and Flecknoe-Brown's ambitions for the system aren't limited to diary development, as they look to roll out features that extend the use case of a single app and portal to meet safety compliance regulations of transport businesses.

"We understand the industry's issues when it comes to streamlining processes, particularly around regulatory requirements, auditing and the work it takes to organise all the proper documentation.” said Flecknoe-Brown.

With Logmaster, drivers can use any Android or Apple device to take care of not only their driving logbook but also their driver pre-start declarations like driver fitness and vehicle pre-start checklists. Logmaster is installed on the driver's Android or Apple smartphone or tablet and can even integrate with existing telematics systems.

It seems that Logmaster’s tagline of being “The transport compliance system that ticks all the boxes' has some strength to it as major national transport businesses and global telematics businesses are flocking to the brands impressive software in droves to put their system to work.
