Ortto launches free AI tool that predicts email open rates
 

Ortto Releases Free AI tool that can Predict Email Open Rates Before You Even Send an Email – Will Ensure Marketers Always Send Top Performing Campaigns.

 

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: August 22nd 2022 – Ortto Inc, marketing software (descr.) have announced the release of artificial intelligence software that can accurately predict email open rates based on the subject line of an email. The tool helps marketers predict if an email marketing campaign will be a success or failure before they even send the campaign based on a purposely trained neural network.
 

The neural network was trained by Ortto engineers on billions of email subject lines and the corresponding open rates that have been sent by Ortto customers since 2015. To the surprise of CTO and co-founder, Chris Sharkey, the AI was highly accurate when predicting open rates based on their subject line, “We tested the AI predictions against thousands of email marketing campaigns that were sent, and to our surprise, the AI was incredibly accurate, often only 2-3 basis points off the actual result.”
 

Michael Sharkey, CEO and co-founder of Ortto believes that AI will kill the A/B testing for marketers long term, “After using AI to predict an open rate of a subject line I’ve never even sent, it was clear to me that this is the beginning of the end of A/B testing.
