Mitron appointed exclusive distributor for SMC Networks Wi-Fi Phone for Skype in Australia

Sydney, 3 December 2007 – Communications technology distributor, Mitron has been appointed as the exclusive Australian distributor for SMC Networks Wi-Fi Phone for Skype. This unique handset allows users to access their Skype account via any internet-enabled wireless access points, providing complete mobility, unlike other devices that must connect with a computer.

SMC Networks, a leading global technology provider of LAN hardware, broadband connectivity devices and SOHO/Home wireless products, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Mitron to launch the SMC WSKP100 Wi-Fi Phone for Skype to the Australian market.
