Celebrate from VIP Seats at the first Northshore Christmas Boat Parade

Boat lovers and Christmas-loving families are booked aboard Brisbane’s newest Christmas tradition, the Northshore Christmas Boat Parade on Sunday 18 December. The Brisbane River will light up and River to Bay Cruises are offering seats to experience the parade from the river itself.
The Christmas Boat Parade is a celebration of the Brisbane River and the joy of the Christmas season. River to Bay’s boat will be festooned in jolly lighting and decorations as they float and flow to a soundtrack of Christmas classics. River to Bay passengers will enjoy the thrill of entertainment on the water and onshore with roving performance artists, live music, photo opportunities, and more!
With a glass of sparkling in hand and an array of snacks and finger food, the boat will traverse the length of the Northshore Brisbane in what will be the highlight of the night!
Head Skipper, Jon Day said that his crew had worked hard to turn their white, fast boats into moving Christmas decorations. “It will be a fun time for all of us to join the parade in our glowing, musical vessels,” he said.
The Northshore Christmas Boat Parade will raise money for selected charities that were instrumental in SEQ flood rescue and recovery efforts earlier this year: RACQ LifeFlight, Queensland State Emergency Service (SES) and Volunteer Marine Rescue Queensland (VMRAQ).
River to Bay Cruises has a range of cruises that take passengers on one of their four fast boats to quickly bring people from Brisbane CBD to Moreton, Stradbroke and St Helena Island. Other river cruises take people to a range of riverside breweries or cocktail bars. There is even a popular cruise to Moreton Island to dine on oysters straight from an oyster farm served with fine wine.
