Fash-tech and social commerce startup Mys Tyler, a pioneer of discovery driven commerce and personalisation within the fashion industry, is now making finding the perfect outfit easier than ever. Since launching the app platform in 2020, Mys Tyler’s FIT Algorithm has been used by more than 300,000 women globally to discover like-bodied creators in order to find body-relevant fashion content and buy clothes that fit. In an industry-first, Mys Tyler is making the data of which brands are worn by women of different heights and shapes available to the public with a new website, www.brandsforyourbody.com. The web-based version is personalised for users based on their height and size, while users of the app get access to a hyper-personalised selection of brands matched to over 10 characteristics.

There are millions of brands in the world and through Mys Tyler’s data collection, the team have been able to learn which brands are preferred by women of different heights, shapes and sizes. Now they’re sharing this data with app users, as well as the general public to help women quickly discover brands that will fit their body.

• Users can explore the brand, see how it looks on a range of bodies and how different women are styling it;
• Users can shop their favourite items directly by clicking through to a brand’s website.

For a more personalised experience, users can opt for the app version, which will be live later this week and is free to download.

“Being able to see how an item of clothing sits on a particular body shape, or someone with the same bust as you, or how someone the same age styles a piece, can really help consumers visualise how it will also look on them,” adds Neill.

Recent research commissioned by Mys Tyler revealed 50% of women struggle to find clothing that suits their body, age, and/or style and 82% of women have recently had issues finding clothes that fit. Mys Tyler is solving both of these issues by serving up body-relevant, shoppable fashion content to users. The app is currently filled with over 40,000 shoppable links and over 5,000 brands so users can make direct purchases when they find an item they love.
