APOD is Australia's official veteran benefits program delivering everyday savings to defence and veteran families in collaboration with the Department of Veterans' Affairs. At the time of this article being published, there are over 142,000 families who use the APOD platform to enjoy special deals from over 2,700 associated companies and businesses. Such businesses include Ampol, RM Williams, Mitsubishi Motors, Harley-Davidson, Woolworths, as well as smaller, veteran-owned and operated businesses. At APOD, we make it our mission to save you money on anything from daily needs like grocery and fuel to one-off expenses like a car.

Speaking on the occasion, APOD CEO Paul Broadbridge said, “Given the reach we have and the diversity of our member base we know that our App will be a powerful communication tool that we want to ensure is used to help improve the lives of military families. The exciting part of the App is our ability to feature items of interest to the defence and veteran community either directly on the home screen of our App or as a news article."

APOD Marketing Manager Abi Lahon added that the App is a win-win for both APOD members and business partners. “The app allows APOD members to redeem fuel, purchase gift cards, and access a variety of other features on the go. It’ll also be an extended touchpoint for our business partners therefore amplifying the reach of their offers to our members”.

We are proud to employ veterans, and their spouses and family members, and this is at the core of who we are. Through our collaboration with the Department of Veterans' Affairs, Veterans Card holders and their spouses are eligible to access APOD for free. Any veteran, who has completed more than one day's continuous full-time service, qualifies for a DVA Veteran Card. Please visit the APOD website (www.apod.com.au) to learn more about how you can start enjoying savings today.
