Newcastle locals release Groundbreaking iPhone App that Uses Laser Technology to Scan Stockpiles.

Announcement posted by LiDARx3 31 May 2023

Warners Bay, Australia – Tim Reece and Ashley Cox have teamed up with The Melt to launch LiDARx3, an innovative iPhone app that uses the phone’s laser technology to scan stockpiles and report on quantities to the customer. This groundbreaking method of calculating volumes promises to reduce costs and improve decision making for businesses in a variety of industries.

The app utilises the iPhone’s built-in LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology to quickly and accurately scan stockpiles of various materials, such as gravel, sand, and soil. The resulting data is then processed and analysed by the app, providing customers with a comprehensive report on the quantity of the stockpile.

Tim Reece, co-founder of LiDARx3, added, “We are thrilled to be working with The Melt on this project. Their expertise in the industry and commitment to innovation have been invaluable in developing and marketing the app. We have had great feedback locally since we developed the app and its finally ready for international distribution”

According to Ashley Cox, one of the co-founders of LiDARx3, “This app is a game changer for businesses that rely on accurate volume measurements. Traditional methods of measuring stockpiles can be time-consuming, expensive, and often inaccurate. With LiDARx3, we are able to provide our customers with real-time data that is more precise and reliable than ever before.”

The Melt, a leading incubator of technology start-ups, has been instrumental in the development and launch of LiDARx3.

“We are excited to partner with Tim and Ashley on this cutting-edge technology,” said Trent Bagnall, CEO of The Melt. “LiDARx3 is a game-changing solution that will revolutionise the way businesses measure and manage their stockpiles.”

LiDARx3 is now available for download on the App Store. To learn more about the app and its features, visit the website at www.lidarx3.com.
