Exciting new collaboration for Duchess Serenity Press and Award-winning Australian TV production company CJZ

 

Sunday Times bestselling author Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York has announced that her popular Young Adult Novel books, The Southport Origin Series, published by Serenity Press, are being turned into a new TV series.  

 

The Southport Origin Young Adult Novels explore identity, promote empathy, and inspire creativity, and combined with the holistic vision of The Duchess and the award-winning Australian production company CJZ, they are the perfect catalyst for compelling and compassionate visual storytelling. Named Southport after the area in Tasmania where it is set, this is an accessible, must-read series of books aimed at teens and fans of Jennifer Niven and Alice Oseman. 

 

Film and Television rights for The Southport Origin Series (Serenity Press), have been optioned by award-winning production company CJZ. CJZ is one of Australia’s leading independently owned production companies, producing original primetime content for networks and streamers in Australia and across the globe. The company works across all genres – specialising in factual, entertainment, comedy and drama, including My Life is Murder starring Lucy Lawless, and Darby and Joan starring Bryan Brown and Greta Scacchi.
