ADELAIDE, South Australia - June 20, 2023 - National Pharmacies, Med-ID Australia (SynMed), and Webstercare® have today announced a successful collaboration that has resulted in the installation and commissioning of the cutting-edge SynMed Ultra Automation Solution at National Pharmacies' Henley Beach site in South Australia.

 

This innovative collaboration brings together the expertise of National Pharmacies, Med-ID Australia as the automation solution provider, and Webstercare® as the Pharmacy Software and Webster-pak® medication management system provider. Together, they have achieved the first-ever integration of Webstercare® MMS™ + PakAssist™ software and Webster-pak® Multi Dose system with the SynMed Ultra system. This development is set to revolutionise the Webster-pak automation process in the pharmaceutical industry.

 

The newly installed SynMed Ultra system will drastically enhance National Pharmacies' blister card production efficiency and accuracy. With a packing rate of over 3000 Webster-pak® per 40-hour week and minimal staffing requirements, the SynMed Ultra system is a testament to National Pharmacies' commitment to operational excellence and streamlined processes.

 

This initiative enables National Pharmacies to shift focus towards providing exceptional patient care. The improved operational efficiency and streamlined workflow of the SynMed Ultra system allow pharmacists and staff to dedicate more time to patient counselling and personalised care, which is a key factor in improving patient outcomes.
