VMPX (BRC-20 Token) — eVMPX (ERC-20 VMPX) can be minted for free at https://getvmpx.com/ starting July 5 at 1:25 (UTC+8). Users only need to pay the gas fee to acquire eVMPX. VMPX acts as a bridging token between the BTC chain and the ETH chain. In addition, burning eVMPX can yield XN tokens from the X1 chain, which will be launched later by the XEN project.

PENDLE (Token) — Pendle’s TVL has steadily increased month by month since the start of this year, going from US$15 million at the beginning of the year to over US$120 million currently. Binance is bullish on the LSDFi sector and announced the listing of PENDLE yesterday. Following the announcement, the price of PENDLE surged before experiencing a significant drop.

PEPE 2.0 (Token) — The popular memecoin PEPE and PEPE 2.0 have bounced back, but the hype surrounding memes is far less intense than before. Bitget was the first centralised exchange to list PEPE 2.0.

BEAN (Token) — A token issued by AzukiDAO. Formed by large community stakeholders and members, Azukidao has voted to sue Azuki’s founder, Zagabond, aiming to reclaim a refund of 20,000 ETH. As reported by MetaSleuth, AzukiDao’s governance token contract BEAN has been attacked due to a loophole in the contract. So far, two attackers have profited 35 ETH by exploiting this loophole. Currently, BEAN has 5242 holders.

Zerion DNA (NFT) — Zerion DNA is an innovative generative NFT that evolves and changes based on users’ exploration of Web3. Wallet activity will shape the appearance of the NFT, reflecting the user’s real Web3 journey. This means that Zerion DNA will change over time, depending on factors such as gas consumption, asset holdings, supported networks, and more.

3. Popular DApps:

Lens Protocol (DApp) — Lens Protocol, a Web3 social network protocol, published the LIP-4 proposal on July 2. The proposal suggests introducing a Profile Guardian security layer, providing additional security for Lens Protocol profiles and helping users safeguard against online phishing scams.

Blur, BendDAO (DApp) — The negative events surrounding Azuki have had a significant negative impact on the blue-chip NFT market, leading to substantial dumping and floor-sweeping by both whales and retail investors. The TVL of BendDAO has significantly decreased, with a large number of NFTs being liquidated or withdrawn.

LayerSwap (DApp) — A cross-chain protocol that bridges tokens from centralised exchange accounts directly to a blockchain at a low cost. It already supports a large number of centralised exchanges and many mainstream blockchains.

WOOFi (DApp) — A decentralised exchange launched by WOO X. It provides users with the best unilateral passive income and the most powerful cross-chain exchange function. Its main modules include Swap, Earn, Stake, and an order book-style decentralised exchange. Since June, it has had numerous collaborations with DeFi projects in the Arbitrum ecosystem. WOO tokens can now be staked across seven chains, gradually gaining increasing importance in the LayerZero ecosystem.

MakerDAO (DApp) — The MakerDAO Risk Core Unit team recently published a proposal titled “Introduction of Smart Burn Engine and Initial Parameters” in the community. The nominal survey phase has ended with 100% support, and the next step will be waiting for the execution vote. The Smart Burn Engine is a new type of smart contract system designed to allocate excess Dai from the Surplus Buffer that Maker has not used as an emergency reserve. MakerDAO plans to set the vault limit to 50 million DAI, with the surplus used to buy MKR and add liquidity.

Playbux (DApp) — Playbux is a metaverse project on the Binance Smart Chain that integrates real-world shops (shop-to-earn), DeFi, NFT, and virtual community promotions. The project has announced a partnership with iQIYI, a global streaming company, to introduce a ‘Watch to Earn’ feature, aimed at enabling users around the world to enjoy quality and free content. Upon entering the Playbux metaverse platform, users can go to the ‘iQIYI Building’ to access shows and movies provided by iQIYI that are part of the ‘Watch to Earn’ feature. After reaching a certain viewing duration, they can participate in a lottery to win NFTs, BUSD, and other rewards.

TinyWorld (DApp) — A GameFi project on the BSC, known as $TINC, recently had its Official Launch on zkSync just two days ago. Towards the end of June, TinyWorld conducted three rounds of mysterious rune presale events on zkSync, all of which sold out within a minute. In early July, they commenced the closed beta testing for “Tiny Dungeons,” organized the TinyWorldBNB Chain Carnival event, and made preparations for the official launch of zkSync.
