The University of Queensland partner with GreenPlus to Advance Protected Cropping Research in Australia

GreenPlus Co. Ltd. and GreenPlus Aus Pty Ltd Sign Landmark MOU with The University of Queensland to Advance Protected Cropping Research in Australia 

 

[Brisbane, Australia 25/07/2023] - GreenPlus Co. Ltd. (GreenPlus Korea) and its subsidiary, GreenPlus Aus Pty Ltd (GreenPlus Australia), have taken a significant step towards fostering sustainable agricultural practices in Australia by signing a groundbreaking Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The University of Queensland (UQ). This momentous collaboration aims to propel protected cropping research and foster growth within the protected cropping industry in the country. 

 

GreenPlus Korea and GreenPlus Australia are at the forefront of high-tech innovation in commercial horticulture, floriculture, and aquaculture farming systems over 26 years globally. Their proprietary technologies empower indoor farming systems, providing complete control over growth environments and the automation of production processes. 

 

UQ, recognised as a global leader in agriculture and food science research and production systems, houses the Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation (QAAFI), an esteemed research institute dedicated to driving innovation in agriculture. 

 

This landmark MOU outlines a shared commitment to advancing initiatives that support protected cropping research and promote the growth of the industry in Australia. Both parties will work collaboratively to explore study tours and trade visits to Korean protected cropping projects, facilitate the design and development of cutting-edge protected cropping components.
