Festival of A.I. & Robotics: FAIR 2024

Tickets to Australia’s first festival uniting artificial intelligence, robotics, neurotechnology, metaverse and other emerging technologies go on sale from Friday.

Scheduled for March 18 – 19th at Melbourne’s Convention and Exhibition Centre, the Festival of AI and Robotics (the FAIR) opens the door to cross-sector collaboration to solve today’s major issues and challenges. The emphasis will be on using emergent technology to upscale businesses right now, while still managing ethics, risk, compliance and the legislative challenges of rapid technology adoption.

“We are in a really interesting context in Australia where Australia is ranked incredibly highly in terms of A.I. research.”, said National AI Institute Director Stela Solar at an AI-focused Opening Keynote speech at TechLeaders on August 27th.  “If you look at the Stanford A.I. Global Vibrancy Index per capita, we're third in the world. That's tremendous. But if you look at our community understanding of AI, it's below global average.”

Addressing this challenge is a collective responsibility across government, industry, SMEs, analysts and the community at large. The FAIR is responding to this challenge by bringing together experts across AI, robotics and other emerging technology with a hands-on, next steps focus.

Featuring expert keynotes, panel discussions, a dynamic technology showcase, demonstrations and extensive networking opportunities (including a special Networking Breakfast connecting today’s leaders with tomorrow’s engineers); as well as our startup showcase and interactive workshops.
