Australian innovation, the Being Profile® launched in Chile initiating its release to Spanish-speaking countries

Original work now being used in over 39 countries

An Australian-invented profiling tool for individuals, leaders and teams called the Being Profile® was launched this month in Santiago, Chile, marking the start of its release to Spanish-speaking nations globally. The original work is now accessible in three languages, including Spanish, and is being used by people in over 39 countries.

Prior to the Santiago launch, Engenesis, the Australian company behind the Being Profile, surveyed more than 100 Chilean directors, general managers and HR executives of some of the country’s most prominent stock exchange-listed companies. They discovered that 79% struggle to communicate with their teams and 97% acknowledged the need to spend more time on self-development in order to be more effective in their roles.

One director’s comments summed up the views of the vast majority: “The biggest challenge for us as leaders is that we can only rely on what we see and hear. We don’t know what’s going on for our people beneath the surface, which limits our capacity to influence effectively.”

The results in Chile were in line with previous studies conducted in Australia and several other countries to discover the behavioural patterns and qualities that determine success or failure in leaders, entrepreneurs and start-ups.

The Being Profile is the brainchild of Engenesis founder and CEO, Ashkan Tashvir. A three-times best-selling author, philosopher and venture builder, Tashvir also pioneered the assessment tool’s overarching Being Framework, the world’s first ontological framework that articulates how humans are being in the context of leadership and performance and which offers a practical methodology for transformation aptly called the Transformation Methodology.

“Unlike other profiling tools that identify strengths, weaknesses, personality types or behavioural and thinking styles, the Being Profile doesn’t categorise people or focus on surface-level behaviours,” said Being Profile founder and Director, Tashvir. “Instead, it provides a vivid snapshot of an individual’s state of being by assessing their relationship with 31 deep underlying qualities that drive our decisions, behaviours and actions. Significantly, these are all qualities that can be transformed.”

Today there are more than 150 accredited Being Profile practitioners worldwide, with this number growing steadily as word spreads about the unique insights it reveals. The profiling tool and its associated Transformation Methodology are also revolutionising how leaders influence their people, make decisions and produce results.

Representing Engenesis at the launch were General Manager of the Being Profile, Lucy Faulconer, who is currently in Santiago in line with the company’s expansion, and Managing Director and Coach Principal of the Engenesis Coach Academy, John Smallwood.
