World-class champagne cabaret BLANC DE BLANC ENCORE returns to Newcastle!

The Spiegeltent will return by popular demand to Newcastle this week, less than six months since it presented THE PARTY. This time it will be BLANC DE BLANC ENCORE taking to the stage as one of the headline acts of the New Annual Festival with an all-new cast and plenty of new acts in store.

BLANC DE BLANC ENCORE creators, Strut & Fret, are renowned for their signature brand of opulent, cheeky, edge-of-your-seat entertainment. The show itself is a dazzling, decadent and Gatsby‑esque cabaret full of surprises, combining vintage French flair and risqué humour with spectacular aerials and big dance numbers. 

While this is not BLANC DE BLANC ENCORE'S first time in Newcastle, each of the new cast members brings their own unique flavour to show. From gravity defying aerials to mind-bending contortion, this latest rendition of the show features enough spectacle to impress seasoned BLANC fans while having newcomers gasping with delight.

Newcastle Lord Mayor Nuatali Nelmes said New Annual was cementing its status as a drawcard event for the city.

"New Annual is the catalyst for Newcastle's cultural events sector to take centre stage alongside leading national events, offering a diverse mix of dance, circus, visual art, music, and theatre by local and nationally renowned artists. The Spiegeltent will remain at Civic Park beyond the festival dates in order to meet demand, playing from 22 September through until 22 October.
