“ Like a fine wine, she’s becoming even more compelling as time goes on.” (Sounds of Oz, 2022)

Australian singer-songwriter Karise Eden has signed a new management deal with August MGMT, marking an exciting new phase in her career as she heads into the summer months with a full calendar of live gigs along the east coast and new releases in the pipeline.

Headed by Joel Heywood, the Melbourne-based August MGMT is home to some of this country's most promising acts, including Stiff Gins, Thndo, The Merindas, Kristal West, Microwave Jenny and more.

The management deal rounds out Karise's new team, which consists of Frank Stivala of Premier Artists as her booking agent and publicist Erin Jameson

Says Karise, a two-time ARIA No. 1 Chart winner, "'As an artist working in the music industry for over a decade, I've had the opportunity to work with many different members within the business.

"To work with August MGMT is an amazing experience. I now have a team that respects my artistry, maintains strong business relationships and navigates my Company dealings with the accuracy and delicacy it demands and deserves.

" I look forward to our future achievements together."

Says Joel, "Bringing Karise Eden to August MGMT is another full circle moment in my life. I've always been a fan of her talent and I remember years back when she won The Voice, I was studying at uni, doing work experience and ended up working a venue on her first national tour. Now all these years later, we've reconnected and I'm pumped to be part of her next exciting chapter.

"She's one of the best voices in the world and I'm determined to make sure you all never forget that. Watch this space…"

Having recently announced a run of interstate solo performances between September and November, Karise now has December through to February fully mapped out, plus additional October dates.

About Karise Eden

Shooting to fame at the age of 19 with a viral audition video that now has over 50 million views on YouTube, Karise Eden has arguably one of Australia's most distinctive voices.

The singer-songwriter started playing guitar at thirteen years of age, and picked up the double bass at the same time. Her debut album My Journey shot straight to #1 on the national ARIA Chart, was certified double platinum and went on to become the biggest selling album by an Australian artist in 2012. In New Zealand the album debuted at #3 and was certified gold.

Karise made ARIA Chart history in the same year when she took out the top three spots on the singles chart with #1 'Stay With Me Baby', #2 'Hallelujah' and #3 'I Was Your Girl', with single 'You Won't Let Me' at #5. Karise was the first artist to achieve this in Australia since The Beatles held the entire Top 6 to themselves back in 1964.

In 2014 Karise's second album Things I've Done was released and featured lead singles 'Dynamite' and 'Loneliness'. The album debuted at #5 on the ARIA Chart, achieved gold sales status and was followed up by sold out shows around the country.

Fast forward to 2023 and Karise Eden is a mum of two beautiful kids and has found peace nurturing her young family, while still finding time to record in her home studio and take her guitar on the road as an in-demand live performer.

Her vocal has never been so powerful and she has never been in a better position to share her journey with her audiences.

Her impressive online stats show that Karise's popularity remains strong and continues to grow, with over 30,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, 144,000 active followers on Facebook and 76,000 subscribers on YouTube.
