THE PULSE OF THE NATION: AUSTRALIANS NAME THEIR FAVOURITE CONSUMER BRANDS IN THE SPRING EDITION OF THE MOZO PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS 2023

THURSDAY 26 OCTOBER 2023: Today, leading financial comparison site Mozo.com.au has announced the nation's favourite consumer brands, after tallying thousands of votes as part of the Spring edition of the Mozo's People's Choice Awards for 2023. 

"For fourteen years now, these awards have shed light on brands capturing the hearts of Australians, and are a testament to the authenticity of consumer choices," said Mozo's Data Director AJ Duncanson.

"Through the feedback and experiences of thousands of Australians, the winning brands genuinely resonate with the public as the best of the best. It's not about us; it's about listening to the pulse of the nation to shape our winners list."

The Spring Edition of the Mozo People's Choice Awards sourced feedback and ratings from 4,028 Australians to find out which brands were the nation's favourite across key consumer categories including household essentials, technology and personal finance.

Respondents first nominated their brand purchases in the key categories, and then assessed their overall satisfaction and experience. 

513 unique brands were put forward by consumers, which Mozo's experts then whittled down to 72 winning providers in dozens of categories across 20 different industries.

"At Mozo, we believe in the power of choice and these awards highlight Australians' genuine experiences and satisfaction with their favourite brands," Duncanson continued.

"This winners list is a scorecard of the brands that go the extra mile to keep their customers happy, and as our award selections are backed by genuine feedback it helps consumers make informed comparisons."

THE STANDOUT BRANDS CHOSEN BY AUSTRALIANS

Australians' named a few key brands that truly stood out against the competition, clinching multiple wins across numerous industries and categories. 

Samsung won the 'Outstanding Customer Satisfaction' award across six different categories, while Apple swept up a slew of awards across five, with laptops, smartphones, smartwatches, and tablets earning recognition for the best build quality, exceptional customer service, outstanding performance, and high customer satisfaction. 

LG showcased its prowess in product performance and high levels of customer satisfaction winning awards across four industries for technology and household essentials including clothes dryers, dishwashers, fridges, laptops, televisions, and TV soundbars.

Dyson also made a notable impact, securing multiple wins for build quality, user-friendliness, and exceptional customer service in the air purifier and vacuum cleaner categories. 

Other leading brands like Bose, Miele, Samsung, Sony, and Westinghouse also demonstrated their unwavering commitment to excellence, earning accolades in multiple categories. 

The winners of the Spring edition of the Mozo People's Choice Awards for 2023 have firmly established themselves as the go-to choices for consumers seeking outstanding quality, customer experience and overall performance.

Mozo People's Choice Awards

The Mozo People's Choice Awards were established in 2010 to recognise companies with the highest customer satisfaction levels in their respective industries.. For the Spring Edition of the 2023 Mozo People's Choice Awards, 4,028 individuals were surveyed to measure attitudes and opinions about their current providers, including their level of customer satisfaction and overall experience.
