New Queen Victoria Market Tour Offers Tastes of Native Australia in Just 90 Minutes

Announcement posted by Flavourhood Tours 03 Apr 2024

Explore the rich flavors of Native Australia at Melbourne's premier culinary hotspot - free from the hassles of crowds and queues - allowing visitors more opportunity to discover, taste, and engage with market traders & artisans.

Food enthusiasts and tourists alike are in for a treat as Flavourhood Tours announces the launch of their newest culinary adventure: Queen Victoria Market Early Access Food Tour. This innovative tour promises to redefine the traditional food tour experience, offering a unique journey through Melbourne's iconic market in just 90 minutes.

What sets this tour apart is its concise yet comprehensive format. Unlike traditional tours that can span several hours, this tour is designed to fit seamlessly into busy travel itineraries, starting early in the morning and concluding in just an hour and a half. This allows participants to explore more of Melbourne's attractions and activities with ample time left in their day. It's also the only QVM tour that runs on Sundays.

One of the standout features of the Queen Victoria Market Early Access Food Tour is its exclusive focus on all-Australian tastings. While other tours may offer generic fare like dips and olives, Flavourhood Tours takes pride in showcasing the diverse and flavoursome offerings unique to Australia. From native bush ingredients to creative fusion foods hand-crafted by local artisans, participants will embark on a culinary journey unlike any other, sampling the best of what Australia has to offer.

"We wanted to create a tour that not only provides a unique and memorable foodie experience but also respects the time constraints of modern travelers," says Raffaela, founder of Flavourhood Tours. "With our Queen Victoria Market Early Access Food Tour, guests can dive into the heart of Melbourne's food scene and still have plenty of time to explore the city's other attractions."

Tours run from 9:30-11am from Friday to Sunday weekly and are priced at $79

About Flavourhood Tours
Flavourhood Tours began in 2016 while Raffaela Ceddia was working at Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. She wanted to bring people to the Northside of Melbourne, where she grew up, after noticing the area wasn't being promoted to tourists or food-festival goers. She has a passion for showing people the real Melbourne and giving visitors the opportunity to taste this city like locals do.
Tours products currently include Flavours of Coburg, Carlton Aperitivo Tour, Queen Victoria Market Early Access Food Tour and private tours for high school students.
