Epson presents its latest range of efficient, cost saving printers for retail and hospitality at Foodservice Australia 2024
Announcement posted by Epson Australia 17 May 2024
ColorWorks C4010
At this year's Foodservice Australia show, the annual showcase of new food, drink and equipment and the one stop shop for those working in a food or hospitality business, Epson will present its award-winning range of efficient inkjet and thermal printers designed specifically for businesses who want to boost and improve their bottom line.
First up is the ColorWorks C4010, a printer specifically designed to dramatically reduce label costs, increase operational efficiencies and quickly produce high-quality colour labels.
By utilising Epson-engineered PrecisionCore® TFP printhead technology, the ColorWorks C4010 is easy to operate and delivers ultra-sharp text and precise barcodes. It also produces varying droplet sizes that, coupled with a 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution, can produce a huge gamut of vibrant, accurate colours, smooth gradations and fine image details. So, whether the challenge is to produce complex informational labels or high-quality product labels, the CW-C4010 satisfies all requirements. The CW-C4010 is also seamlessly compatible with ZPL II, major middleware, SAP, Windows®, Mac® and Linux.
ColorWorks C6010
Next up is the ColorWorks C6010, Epson's highly dependable 4" commercial inkjet label printer covering a broad spectrum of label sizes for enhanced productivity and versatility.
Not just dependable, the ColorWorks C6010 is also highly skilled and comes with a 4" built-in auto cutter to create variable-length labels and enable easy job separation, and an applicator I/O control port for truly automated workflow and high-quality printing as it too is powered by Epson's patented PrecisionCore TFP print head technology.
Like the ColorWorks C4010, the ColorWorks C6010 produces particularly sharp text and precise barcodes, a very wide gamut of bold and accurate colours, excellent gradations and fine image details. With all of the above at your disposal, the CW-C6010 offers easy cost and inventory reductions compared to using pre-printed labels.
TM-L100
Alongside these two printers is the TM-L100, a printer designed from the ground up for businesses that are supplying online orders or offering pick-up in store, curbside pickup, delivery or cup and item labelling. Its in-built Server Direct Print application also lets the printer retrieve orders from a web server and print a label without any POS software integration.
As it can be dynamically shared with PC-POS terminals, mobile devices and cloud servers at the same time, the Epson TM-L100 helps keep businesses moving. It can also provide a reliable wired network connection to a mobile device through USB network tethering and by using Epson tested media supports high adhesive strength making it ideal for hospitality, retail and more.
The TM-L100 also offers white space reduction and character height reduction helping reduce media usage and accepts multiple jobs but only prints one label at a time; preventing continuous printing and labels adhering to each other.
TM-m30III
Last but by no means least is the TM-m30III, the sleek, stylish and compact solution ideal for tablet POS environments.
For retail businesses looking to move to a tablet POS system that is affordable and easy to install, Epson's TM-m30III tablet POS printer from is the ideal choice. Thanks to its ePOS-Print SDK and like the TM-L100, the TM-m30III easily communicates with web-based applications, ensuring receipts can be printed quickly and efficiently from any mobile device without the need to install or update drivers.
Aside from its attractive and modern design, Epson's TM-m30III tablet POS printer also offers flexible horizontal or vertical placement options, NFC and barcode pairing.
The Epson team will be giving demos of all these clever, efficient and cost saving printers every day at the Foodservice Australia show from 10am to 5pm.
