Glow Church Melbourne Becomes Autonomous, Rebrands as "Saints"

Melbourne, VIC - May 20, 2024 - Glow Church Melbourne, located at 488 Swanston Street, Carlton, celebrated a significant milestone on May 19, 2024. Coinciding with Pentecost Sunday, the congregation announced its autonomy and new identity as "Saints."

The church will focus on what it believe's its mission is; renewal and revival in the city of Melbourne.

The launch video states: 

"Reclaiming the word: saints— we aim to embody the word more as a verb than a noun. Carrying on the Exodus 19 mandate of God's people to be a 'Kingdom of Priests', empowered now by Jesus' righteousness and the Holy Spirit, we exist to:

CALL: saints
GATHER: saints
EQUIP: saints
SEND: saints

The word doesn't describe a perfect person, in fact, it describes the juxtaposition of imperfect people made right through Jesus and the finished work of the cross."

Using the tag line: "To the saints in Melbourne, welcome home."

Under the leadership of Pastors Jimmy and Emma L'Almont, and as apart of the Australian Christian Churches (ACC) the church embarks on this new chapter while continuing its mission to serve the Melbourne community.
