Announcement posted by Restive 24 Jun 2024

MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA - June 24, 2024 - Technology consultancy to future-focussed companies, Restive, has today announced the appointment of Seb Amielh into the newly-created role of executive director.

The role is based in Restive's Sydney office where the consultancy has a growing client-base and an expanding team. Amielh will join the Restive leadership team and be responsible for client strategy and relationships, operations, new business, and people development.

On Amielh's appointment, Restive founder and managing director Stuart Oliver commented: "I've known and worked with Seb for more than eight years, so I'm thrilled he's joining us. Seb is highly passionate about delivering digital transformation for companies in highly competitive environments, and having worked with him previously, I know firsthand that he's a great fit with our people and our clients.

"Our team has grown significantly over the past four years and there's more to come as we continue to expand our base in Sydney. We have an established presence in Melbourne where we launched the business in 2018, but I'm excited that Seb has joined us to help more Sydney clients make giant leaps with their digital strategy and accelerate our growth in that market."

Amielh joins Restive from Endava where he was executive general manager, Sydney since 2020. Before that, he was general manager at Lexicon and principal at Thoughtworks. Amielh has more than 25 years' experience in technology across Australia, Canada and France, working with some of the world's largest businesses on their digital strategy, delivery and transformation.

On his appointment, Amielh said: "I've watched Restive grow significantly over the past few years, so I'm excited that Stuart has chosen me to lead the growth in Sydney and beyond. I'll be focussed on helping him and his team deliver best-in-class digital advisory, delivery, and team augmentation services to our clients. I'm looking forward to working with some of the most progressive digital companies in the country, helping them to optimise technology and their teams to achieve growth."

Restive has grown 170% year-on-year since its launch in 2018, expanding from Melbourne into Sydney, Brisbane and Kuala Lumpur. The tech consultancy is today an ecosystem of more than 400 tech experts offering strategy, delivery and team augmentation services to some of Australia's leading companies. Clients include Coles, Viva Energy, JB Hi-Fi, Liberty Finance, and Sportsbet, among others.

Restive offers clients services across five core capabilities: data and AI, customer research and experience design, cybersecurity, digital strategy, and tech modernisation and cloud.

Amielh's appointment is effective immediately.
