Aussie triple-threat talent and overall icon of the screen since starring as 'Henry' on popular Australian soap Neighbours in the 80's and winning the Gold Logie, Craig McLachlan is returning to his musical roots in August to tour with Golden Guitar nominee Andy Penkow in a series of intimate gigs in Victoria, NSW and Queensland, with the tour kicking off in Shepparton tonight, Friday 2rd August.

According to Craig, the tour will be a great opportunity to connect with his fans and supporters in the most intimate of settings. 

'I've been lucky enough to have played all over the world during my career, across many genres from pop to rock, blues to jazz, but for me, it all starts and ends with the guitar.  The guitar has been a constant throughout my entire life," he said. 

"Playing with Andy is always a joy; he embodies everything I love about country music, and it gives me a chance to flex my Country chops!  As far as my solo set is concerned, I think of it as a musical time machine."

"I'll be going back to the songs that moved me as a kid, songs I've recorded, songs I've performed in arenas and songs I've performed in smoky clubs - all stripped back, no trickery, just fingers, strings, a fretboard and a whole lotta love.'

McLachlan appeared in movies alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones and Omar Sharif plus TV shows including Neighbours, Home and Away, McLeod's Daughters and Packed to the Rafters. He starred in the TV series The Doctor Blake Mysteries which has recently returned to screens on streaming platform Amazon Prime.
