Brother launches new DCP inkjet printers

Sydney, Australia – 2 October 2008 - Brother International today announced the launch of the new DCP Inkjet range, the ultimate printer range for home and office use. Boasting an extensive range of feature-rich and affordable digital copier printers (DCP), the series offers consumers a wide range of document capabilities making them the ideal printers for the home, home office or small business.

All models in the series, including the DCP-145C, DCP-165C, DCP-185C, DCP-385C and DCP-585CW feature outstanding print, copy and scan capabilities as well as a convenient and practical direct print function which allows image printing straight from a media card or USB.

DCP-145C
At a competitive price point, the DCP-145C is a great all round digital printer featuring print speeds of up to 27 pages per minute (ppm) for mono and 22ppm in colour, ideal for time efficient, effortless photo printing at home.

DCP-165C
The DCP-165C’s handy PhotoCapture Centre allows users print photos directly from a media card. The DP-165C also features superior print speeds of up to 30 pages per minute (ppm) for mono and 25 ppm for colour, ensuring professional looking documents can be produced at home easily and quickly.

DCP-185C*
Delivering the same print, copy and photo speeds as the DCP-165C, the DCP-185C also features a convenient automatic document feeder that makes copying and scanning multi-page documents simple. For greater efficiency, the DCP-185C features high yield ink cartridges which last longer.

DCP-385C
The DCP-385C delivers an effective printing solution for any small business environment.  Featuring a handy 4x6 photo paper tray, the DCP-385C allows users to print photos directly without having to remove standard paper first. In addition to an impressive print speed of 30 ppm for mono, the DCP-385C features a large and easy to read 3.3-inch wide colour LCD display, for ultimate simplicity of use.

DCP-585CW**
Delivering incredible print and copy speeds of up to 33 ppm for mono and 27 ppm for colour, the DCP-585CW is the ultimate machine for the home office and small business. Time-efficient printing, an impressive 30 second 4x6 photo printing speed, as well as high speed USB, networking and wireless capabilities make the DCP-585CW a standout printer and the ideal digital colour printer for the home and office.
