Game Summary
The Perth Lynx are the team to hand the Bendigo Spirit their first 2024/25 WNBL Season loss. It was a tight match right from the beginning as the top-of-the-table clash promised, but the last five minutes proved to be the difference that allowed Perth to sneak away with a monumental win.
Key players for the Lynx were Ally Wilson and Anneli Maley. Wilson finished the game with 20 points and 5 rebounds, her 3-point shooting was the catalyst for Perth to springboard their win. Maley was also key, finishing with 12 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists.
Despite their first loss, the Bendigo Spirit still took it up to the visiting Lynx, Marianna Tolo being their shining light. Tolo had 16 points, 4 blocks and 3 rebounds.
