24/25 WNBL Season - Round 12

Game Summary

In a highly anticipated top-of-the-table clash, No. 1 Bendigo hosted No. 2 Perth. The game lived up to expectations, with a close contest throughout. No team held a double-digit lead until the final minute, when Bendigo managed to take control. Perth led at each quarter-time break but were unable to hold off Bendigo in the closing stages.

The game featured numerous highlights, standout performances, and impressive stat lines. As usual, Sami Whitcomb led the charge for Bendigo, finishing with 29 points, including three triples in quick succession early in the fourth quarter to give her team the lead. Perth's Alex (Ally) Wilson matched Whitcomb's 29-point effort, providing strong support for her side.

Laeticia Amihere also contributed to Perth's efforts, adding 21 points. However, she faced early foul trouble, limiting her to just 23 minutes on the court. Perth's defensive structure and size were notably affected in her absence.
