The funding will assist Link Wentworth in meeting the costs of delivering critical social and affordable housing across Sydney.
It will see 275 homes developed to offer safe, secure, and affordable housing to Australians in need, with a total value of around $215 million.
Link Wentworth's projects funded under the HAFF include:
- Cammeray
- Rouse Hill
- Queenscliff
- North Ryde
- Thornleigh
- Pennant Hills.
Link Wentworth is also working in partnership with Homes NSW on a HAFF Round 1 project.
Link Wentworth CEO Andrew McAnulty said the HAFF provides an essential way forward to help address the housing crisis.
"The HAFF is about delivering more equitable and sustainable housing, with Community Housing Providers the experts in building homes, managing tenancies, and connecting tenants with support services," Mr McAnulty said.
"The funding is recognition of the important role the Community Housing industry has in providing long-term solutions, as a trusted partner of government and the private sector.
"Housing policy and the HAFF are essential to ensuring we have the long-term strategies, infrastructure, and investment to address the housing crisis. We look to all political parties to secure support for future housing by committing to ongoing funding."
Link Wentworth is one of Australia's largest providers of social housing, giving 10,000 Sydney residents a safe, secure, and affordable place to live. The not-for-profit has been operating for more than 40 years.
