Company Targets The Mining and Petrochemical Sectors
Sydney, 12 February 2009 – Rittal, a leading worldwide provider of enclosure technologies, will launch the first product in its new RiMining range of enclosures at the upcoming Australasian Oil and Gas Exhibition being staged at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre from 17-19 February 2009.

Designed specifically for the Australian mining and petrochemical sectors, the first RiMining stainless steel enclosure features a large opening and an extended sloped roof overhang, providing organisations with easier electrical installation and improved weather protection.

Specifically, the enclosure measures 400 mm high x 400 mm wide and 250 mm deep. It has flexible left or right hinged doors which open to 180 and feature a three point locking system. Mounting flanges can be separate sections while a flange on the door is required for the provision of locking studs to meet a Grade A cyclone rating.

“As a leading, global provider of enclosure technology we've been able to continue to innovate in this dynamic and challenging technology area while demonstrating a continued commitment to invest in solutions tailored for local market conditions. The RiMining range offers Australian organisations superior features at a competitive price point,” said John McCarl, National Marketing Manager, Rittal.

The enclosure will feature on the Rittal booth at the Australasian Oil and Gas Exhibition, stand number R36.
