Announcement posted by Interactive 13 May 2025
Melbourne, Australia - 13 May 2025: Interactive, one of Australia's leading IT service providers, has expanded its partnership with Dicker Data to include data centre services on top of hardware maintenance services.
Dicker Data first partnered with Interactive in 2017 to deliver comprehensive hardware maintenance support. This collaboration enabled resellers and their customers to access fast, cost-effective solutions for maintaining IT infrastructure —ranging from post-warranty support for existing hardware to short-term services and multi-vendor maintenance. Since then, Interactive has worked alongside more than 600 resellers to provide end-to-end support for Dicker Data's customers throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Today marks a significant milestone as Dicker Data and Interactive proudly announce the expansion of their strategic partnership in Australia. Building on a strong history of collaboration, Interactive's role has been broadened to now include software, cloud distribution, and data centre services — solidifying its position as a key strategic partner for Dicker Data across these critical areas.
Through this strengthen alliance, resellers will now be able to offer Interactive's data centre services in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, enabling them to provide reliable, locally hosted infrastructure services to their customers. These services support critical business outcomes such as improved customer retention, growth within the distribution ecosystem, and closer alignment with evolving business needs.
One of the key benefits for customers is access to Interactive's sovereign data centres. As demand for data centre capacity accelerates — driven by the growth of AI workloads, data-intensive applications, and hybrid cloud adoption — secure, scalable infrastructure has become essential. These enterprise-grade data centres safeguard operations against outages and ensure continuous, secure connectivity to support the resilience and performance modern businesses demand.
Pennie Stevens, General Manager of Software ANZ, Dicker Data, said "We're pleased to be expanding our partnership with Interactive to offer their data centre services in Australia. We continue to see strong demand for hybrid cloud solutions, and this new offering from Interactive will enable partners of all sizes to access colocation services, and more, to support their customers' needs."
Lizzi Long, General Manager of Data Centres at Interactive, concludes the addition of data centre services adds a competitive edge to Dicker Data's Australian operations.
"In today's hybrid environment, businesses are under pressure to shift to the cloud, but many don't know where to start. We provide market choice and guidance on the solution that works best for your organisation, ultimately supporting business objectives. We're thrilled to expand our partnership with Dicker Data and look forward to empowering reseller partners with the capabilities to offer robust, locally hosted solutions to their customers."
