CLASSIC TALE OF TEENAGE ANGST GIVEN A MODERN MUSICAL COMEDY RETELLING

Boy meets girl, boy feels awkward about size of nose, boy gets other boy with reasonable sized nose to woo girl using awkward boy's words…

Remember that one?  

In this upbeat, heartfelt musical by new writer Barry Wyner, the classic tale of Cyrano de Bergerac is given a modern, musical-comedy retelling. Set in contemporary America, four teenagers struggle with their insecurities as they make their way through the never-ending Judgement Day that is high school. 

Leading the cast in Hyde Entertainment's production, as 'Calvin' is award-winning creative, Seb Smee (Spelling Bee, Chatroom). Next up is Jude Schillert (Carrie, Legally Blonde) as 'Matt'. Zoe Chan (Love & Information, War of the Worlds) joins the cast as the loveable 'Bret' and lastly, 'Rosanna' will be played by the incomparable Finlay Page (Legally Blonde).

These 4 incredible performers will be taking the stage in the Australian Return of CALVIN BERGER from 4 July, 2025.
