ARM Hub Powers Australian Data Revolution with DKE Partnership

Announcement posted by OnlyForward 10 Jun 2025

Enterprise-grade solutions for smaller Australian businesses

BRISBANE, June 10, 2025 — Queensland's ARM Hub has emerged as a powerful catalyst for Australian innovation. Recent victories include the launch of the nation's first AI and Robotics Sprint "Propel-AIR", and breakthrough partnerships helping companies like Brisbane medtech startup Microbio scale globally with AI-powered diagnostic solutions.

DKE Partnership

A critical enabler behind ARM Hub's rapid-fire company transformations is data consultancy DKE. Founded by technology architect Roozbeh Derakhshan, the goal of the firm is to deliver enterprise-grade solutions to smaller businesses by leveraging AI & data science to deliver true data cohesion.

'AI is a game-changer for SME's', says Derakhshan. 'With AI, SME's have a level playing field with far larger organisations. Without it, they risk irrelevance.'

Where larger data consultancy firms charge hundreds of thousands just to scope data transformation projects, DKE untangles and integrates data for a fraction of the cost, making enterprise-grade AI accessible to Australian SMEs for the first time.

The partnership proved decisive for Microbio, whose InfectID™-BSI diagnostic test detects 26 sepsis-causing pathogens from blood in under three hours. DKE helped clean and organise Microbio's data stack, enabling the transition from research-focused startup to scalable, international AI-driven diagnostic manufacturer. The same data structures that helped Microbio accelerate their global trials are now supporting companies like Cortical Dynamics in advancing their medical device capabilities.

Breaking the bottleneck

Most Australian manufacturers face an impossible choice: remain trapped by their own data or pay enterprise-scale prices for solutions designed for multinational corporations. Larger firms are using efficiencies in AI to expand their markets - creating opportunities for SMEs who can target larger markets with the same efficiency gains. But they must act, and quickly.

"Every piece of knowledge produced inside your business, including meetings, emails, all your backend systems like CRM and ERP, all your unstructured data sitting in places like SharePoint—eventually can generate outcomes," says Roozbeh Derakhshan, DKE Founder.

"We offer a simple English interface to all the data held by your organisation, like an internal ChatGPT. You don't have to be an organisation of 200,000 people to deal with data and AI strategically. We're doing this at economy of scale, so it's doable and cheap enough to be done by anyone."

Through data-as-a-service solutions built with partners including Databricks and Microsoft, DKE creates knowledge organisations where complex data becomes accessible to non-technical staff through natural language interfaces.

"ARM Hub knows that SMEs aren't hiring highly skilled industry leaders like data architects or principal data scientists. It's too expensive for them," says Samuel Jesuadian, ARM Hub Director. "With DKE we are creating a secure, straightforward service more suitable for SMEs.  By bringing a shared talent capability, businesses can de-risk that initial data transformation and gain a pathway to be competitive as medium or large businesses."
