Epson launches new WorkForce Enterprise AM-M5500 multi-function printer

Epson has launched its WorkForce Enterprise AM-M5500 multi-function printer, a new A3 monochrome device that offers a print speed of up to 55 pages per minute and a duplex scanning speed of up to 140 images per minute, all within a compact design. 

This new printer utilises the latest generation of energy-saving Epson Heat-Free Technology, making this an energy-efficient and cost-effective alternative to laser printers for businesses. 

Thanks to this Heat-Free PrecisionCore printhead technology, the printing process starts immediately without a warm-up time, resulting in the WorkForce Enterprise AM-M5500 printing up to 69000 pages1 without changing supplies and a first page out time as low as 4.8 seconds.

The new AM-M5500 features a space-saving architecture with a C-shaped paper path, making it among the most compact in its class and allowing it to fit in limited spaces. 

The new product also comes with an open developer platform, enabling customisation and expansion of its functions with solutions from Epson or third parties. It also shares the same user interface as other devices in the AM series, ensuring ease of use. 

Like other printers with Heat-Free Technology, the AM-M5500 consumes less power compared to similarly equipped laser printers while still delivering consistently high performance and quality. 

This product further expands Epson's business inkjet portfolio providing a suitable printing and copying solution for companies of all sizes and with its ease of management and low maintenance, is a particularly attractive solution for education, logistics and corporate customers.

Additional WorkForce Enterprise AM Series features include a large intuitive, user-friendly 10.1" colour touchscreen operation with customisable interface and a full suite of advanced security features.

WorkForce Enterprise AM Series are the ideal solution for stacking, stapling, creating booklets, hole-punching, fax and multi-network options and use an efficient workflow that includes single-pass duplex scanning.

All WorkForce Enterprise AM Series are compatible with Epson Solutions Suite and industry-leading third-party solutions for seamless workflow integration.

They also produce remarkable image quality by using DURABrite® Pro fast-drying and water-resistant pigment ink which delivers crisp black text.

The new Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-M5500 will be available from qualified Epson resellers from June 2025.
