Fresh from his global young entrepreneur award (GSEA Awards 2025) where he placed second in the competition, 19-year-old Kai Seymon who is Autistic and dyslexic, has now partnered with innovative program First Pivot and company Zero Plastics Australia to launch a ground-breaking mental wellness startup school-based program for Mental Health Month this October. It will feature Kai sharing his experiences and collaborating with students to bring a new fidget design to life throughout classrooms across Australia, whilst teaching Entrepeneurship.

The program is an industry first - a teen entrepreneur helping younger entrepreneurs deal with wellbeing issues and stay focussed, with the fidget designed for this to be unveiled next month ahead of Mental Health Month.

Kaiko Fidgets already partners with organisations such as Head Space, Schools and Hospital Networks around Australia to provide them with donated fidgets for distribution.

Says Kai, "It is so cool to be able to work with First Pivot & Zero Plastics to inspire other students, like me, to think outside the box to create a sustainable, practical and commercially viable tool to support mental health!"

What started out as a story of bullying in the classroom turned into a multi-million-dollar company for 19-year-old Kai Seymom and his Mum Jo, who designed and developed over 700 sensory 'fidget' products aimed to assist neurodivergent teens and adults and now sell over 250,000 products a year from their warehouse in Melbourne. Their company 'Kaiko Fidgets' now averages a growth of 50% year-on-year.

In July, Kai came second in the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards, where he was the only Australian to make the finals out of 1200 competitors. Kai and Jo's purposeful products are now also being sold by retailers in the U.S and the U.K. and appear in some schools.

Their products, at their core, are for everyone; they meet so many needs - from pen click replacement to skin picking supports, there are sensory fidgets for that.
