Jacinta Monckton: Women aged 35-65 fastest growing users of botox and filler

Announcement posted by Invigorate PR 20 Oct 2025

Perth registered nurse and cosmetic professional, Jacinta Monckton, said the biggest boom in the cosmetic injectables industry isn't about bigger lips or erasing wrinkles, it's about helping women wind back the clock and rediscover their confidence.

"The majority of my patients are women between 35 and 65," Monckton said.

"They're not chasing trends, they're chasing the version of themselves they remember. They want to look fresher, lifted and vibrant again. My role is to help them achieve that safely, naturally and beautifully.

"Many are having their glow up moment. Their partner has left them at the altar, left them after years of marriage or just fallen out of love. They want a reset. They want to feel better about themselves and cosmetic injectables provides this, almost instantly."

The science of rejuvenation

As women age, fat stores in the face diminish, skin loses elasticity and the natural structure that supports facial features begins to sag. This often results in hollow cheeks, thinning lips and a drawn, tired appearance, even when women feel energetic and youthful on the inside.

"This is where modern cosmetic injectables truly shine," Monckton explained.

"Through a combination of dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections and mid-face volumising treatments, we can restore definition, lift the cheeks, smooth lines and rehydrate the skin, effectively giving the face back its youthful structure."

Each treatment is designed to restore balance and harmony. Cheek and mid-face rejuvenation helps to lift sagging skin, while jawline contouring and chin balancing redefine facial proportions. Tear trough correction softens tired under-eye hollows and lip enhancements restore natural shape and hydration. Wrinkle relaxers are carefully placed to smooth expression lines while maintaining natural movement and character.

"The results aren't dramatic, they're refined," Monckton said.

"It's about facial harmony and balance. My patients want to look rested and refreshed, not different."

Confidence restored

Monckton said her work goes far beyond aesthetics, it's emotional.

"When women sit in my chair, they often tell me they've stopped recognising themselves in the mirror," she said.

"My goal is to help them see that person again, the one who feels confident, strong and radiant. It's one of the most rewarding parts of what I do."

For many women, the transformation is deeply personal.

"It's incredibly emotional," she said.

"They don't just see smoother skin or fuller cheeks, they see their spark again. They stand taller, smile more and carry themselves differently. That's the true power of modern cosmetic medicine."

The biggest boom in the cosmetic industry

Monckton said this shift from enhancement to rejuvenation is fuelling the fastest-growing segment of the cosmetic injectables industry.

"Women want treatments that celebrate their beauty rather than change it," she said.

"The focus now is on restoration, balance and self-confidence, on feeling good in your own skin again. This is what modern cosmetic medicine is all about."

A young mum of two young kids, Monckton left the health system due to burnout and long inflexible hours. She transferred her registered nursing skills and capabilities to the cosmetic injectables industry and opened a Cosmetique franchise mid year. She has not looked back and is already planning to open a second one. Monckton believes the cosmetic injectables industry offers the perfect pathway for nursing heath professionals to pursue their love of helping people and leading their own fulfilling careers with flexibility, pay satisfaction and joy.
