# BILLIONAIRE JOHN SINGLETON HAS BEEN A PATIENT FOR OVER 20 YEARS

One of Darlinghurst's most well-known and highly regarded GP's with over 50 years in practice, Dr Kwong Tam, has sensationally had his clinic closed over apparent vaccine temperature record discrepencies despite extensive, digitalised record keeping. He has vowed to fight for the right to continue to practice and will host a media conference this Friday 31st October 2025 at 10:30am, along with offering free consultations for all new and former patients between 9am and 1pm.

Dr Tam's patients - which range from the marginalised and homeless, through to Barristers and high-profile businessmen such as John Singleton - will rally at his clinic located at 253 Victoria Street, Darlinghurst, to prompt a response from the NSW Medical Council, which has so far offered no further outcome or correspondence since July of this year.

"Just one individual - Dr Vicky Sheppeard from South Eastern Sydney Public Health - was able to single-handedly disagree and in some cases, invent certain vaccines temperature breaches when records are completely digitalised with no room for error," Dr Tam said.

"As a result, she has been able to dismantle decades of work in the community and cause great upset to hundreds of patients, some of whom I've been seeing for up to thirty years."

Dr Tam has always maintained that he is happy to appease Dr Sheppeard and cease administering vaccines altogether to patients of his clinic, especially as pharmacies have now largely taken up this service within most communities.

Dr Sheppeard has had her own fair share of controversies, most recently with cruise ship The Ruby Princess during COVID whereby she fronted a special commission of inquiry into the bungle that saw tests never reach patients that were sick on board the vessel.

In a situation that seems to parallel the disqualification of another prominent figure in medicine, surgeon Dr Charlie Teo, Dr Tam's decades of experience and tens of thousands of satisfied patients and medical colleagues, seem of lesser value than bureaucratic red tape.

Says John Singleton, "As an 'old school' GP, this comes with numerous benefits you simply do not see today; a wealth of knowledge, endless networks, and even bulk billing for those that are disadvantaged."

"Any specialist or surgeon at St Vincent's will have a 'Tam' story that is moving in its generosity and simple love for his fellow man."

"Quite simply, Dr Tam and his clinic are an institution in the area."
