SYDNEY, Australia, March, 06, 2025 - Building on the success of its NF20MESH Wi-Fi 6 platform, NetComm has unveiled the next generation of whole-home connectivity with the NF71 Wi-Fi 7 Gateway and NS71 EasyMesh Satellite.

Built with next-generation Wi-Fi 7 and 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet support, the NF71 and NS71 deliver a simple solution for high-performance whole-home Wi-Fi coverage that scales with user demand. The NF71/NS71 allow families to maximise the benefit of high-speed multigigabit broadband services. The NF71 Gateway includes Wi-Fi 7 BE6400, dual-band MIMO design for maximum coverage, Multi-Link Operation (MLO) for greater reliability and speed by transmitting across multiple frequency bands simultaneously, enhanced noise handling for greater stability, two 2.5GE ports, VoIP functionality, and support for all NBN services - FTTP, HFC, FTTC, FWA, SkyMuster, with VDSL for FTTB/FTTN.

The NS71 EasyMesh Satellite extends Wi-Fi coverage and includes two 2.5GE ports for high-speed wired connections. Satellites can be pre-paired to Gateways using NetComm's Mesh Provisioning Manager, allowing ISPs to deliver an "it just works straight out of the box" plug-and-play installation experience.

Beyond enhanced performance, the NF71 and NS71 platform is designed to improve customer experience and reduce operational overheads. Designed in Australia and optimised specifically for Australian and New Zealand broadband environments, the NF71 and NS71 are not adapted from offshore reference platforms.

Compatibility across all Australian and New Zealand broadband access technologies ensures the gateway works seamlessly out of the box, reducing installation complexity and eliminating the need for additional hardware.

Scheduled auto-reboot functionality enhances long-term service stability, while firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) updates ensure devices remain secure and up to date. LED control allows users to switch off status lights when desired, improving suitability for bedrooms and living areas, while multifunction LED indicators continue to provide clear device visibility when needed.

Pre-configuration via NetComm's Mesh Provisioning Manager (MPM) enables ISPs to remotely pair gateways and satellites prior to shipment, streamlining deployment and delivering a true plug-and-play installation experience.

Advanced Setup and Network Management
NetComm's Aurora Device Assistant app provides guided setup, firmware management, and diagnostics. Users can manage their home network directly from their mobile device, reducing support calls for ISPs and improving customer satisfaction.
