New Partnership Sees Digital & Data Firm Notitia Expand Presence In Tasmania

Announcement posted by Notitia 16 Feb 2026

Australian data and digital transformation firm Notitia has today announced a new partnership with Tasmanian-based analytics service provider Rod Jager Consulting, formally establishing Notitia’s presence in Tasmania.

Notitia Managing Director Alex Avery said the partnership was a "natural fit" bringing together Notitia's national experience delivering data and digital solutions across Australian industries, with Rod Jager Consulting's 25 years' expertise, deep local knowledge and long-standing presence in Tasmania.

"The partnership allows us to establish a presence in Tasmania in a way that's grounded in local experience, trust and user-centred delivery," Mr Avery said.

"Rod Jager Consulting and Notitia have had a long-standing relationship as industry peers and we've supported each other's success along the way.

"It's exciting to embark on this next chapter together."

The partnership will support Tasmanian organisations in their data and digital transformation projects, improving how they plan, analyse and report on data, and helping technology leaders to make clearer, more confident decisions supported by trusted information.

"Tasmanian organisations will gain access to Notitia's expert team and broad service offering, including data strategy, analytics, web development and design-led UX UI delivery, while maintaining support from Rod Jager Consulting," Mr Avery said.

"Our breadth of skills and experience, along with an aligned workplace culture has made this partnership a natural fit."

Notitia works closely with organisations across government, healthcare, education and commercial sectors, supporting them to solve the right technology and data challenges, while delivering practical outcomes and user-centred tools for the people who use them.

"We're eager to work alongside our shared clients with seamless one-on-one support and a boutique service that underpins Notitia's approach," Mr Avery said.

"At Notitia, we've purposely maintained a director-led model to ensure that senior expertise is closely involved and approachable by our clients throughout every engagement.

"Our projects are centred around open communication, trust and mutual values, and we invest heavily in working as a cohesive team to provide seamless execution and client handovers."

Rod Jager, founder of Rod Jager Consulting said that Notitia shared a focus on  practical outcomes, strong client relationships and real-world solutions.

"I'm looking forward to what this partnership will bring for Rod Jager Consulting and Notitia," Mr Jager said.

"It brings together complementary strengths. Notitia's experience across Australian sectors and its practical, design-led approach align strongly with how we work with our clients.

"It means that Tasmanian organisations can access broader expertise while working with a local partner who understands their context."

Having founded Notitia in 2019, Mr Avery's career includes Big 4 consulting, global startups and academia. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne.

Today, Avery advises executive teams on building the systems, tools and data foundations needed to turn insight into action at scale.

He says that his approach has always been to design technology and tools with human needs at the forefront, not the other way around.

"We always take the time to ask the right questions and understand the problems on the ground in a business, we need to know what the pain points are of the people who do the job, use that piece of technology or end up with that report in their hands.

"It means that we create processes and tools that actually solve a real problem for a real person and are designed, by my team, for that person.

"The end result is that employees within organisations can do their job better and faster."

Mr Avery said that he invests heavily in ensuring that his team has the right mix of values and skill sets, and that collaboration is the key to a smooth and successful project.

"Effective data and digital solutions don't start with technology, it always begins with the people: truly understanding the problem, identifying the root cause, tailoring the best solution quickly, and applying the right mix of expertise.

"At Notitia we're a fun bunch from different backgrounds and skill sets — our diversity creates better solutions, our people are hungry to learn and evolve, and we invest in ensuring that we are cohesive and collaborative.

"The result is a unified and highly skilled team that is agile enough to respond to the needs of the organisations that we help and this approach always results in real-world, workable solutions."
