The bloodiest musical of all time hits Sydney
From the producers of The Play That Goes Wrong comes Evil Dead The Musical, where the cult classic horror-comedy gets a bloody twist!
Grab your mates, your flanno, and maybe a rain poncho. Evil Dead The Musical crashes head-first into live theatre with chainsaws, demons and buckets of fake blood. Inspired by Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2, this cult favourite blends slapstick comedy, rock-infused musical numbers and over-the-top horror into a wildly entertaining theatrical event.
The setup is classic horror: five university students head to a creepy old cabin in the woods for a quiet weekend away. Naturally, they unleash an ancient evil, leading to possessions, demon chaos and outrageous musical mayhem. Enter Ash - humble housewares clerk turned chainsaw-wielding hero - armed with a boomstick, a chainsaw hand and absolutely zero chill.
This is theatre that knows exactly what it is: outrageous, fast-paced, and visually explosive.
