One of Australia's leading specialty coffee retailers, Zarraffa's Coffee, is celebrating a major milestone in 2026 - marking 30 years in business and 25 years since launching its franchising model, which helped transform the brand from a small roasting house operation into a nationally recognised coffee network.

 

Founded on 25 March 1996 in the backstreets of the Gold Coast by Founders Kenton and Rachel Campbell, Zarraffa's began with a passion for delivering quality coffee experiences to local communities.

 

Three decades later, the Australian-owned and operated brand has grown into a thriving franchise network spanning multiple states, supported by a cohort of dedicated franchise partners and a loyal customer base.

 

Mr Campbell said reaching the milestone is a testament to the people behind the brand and the values that have remained at the heart of the business since day one.

Since opening its first retail store in 1997 at Australia Fair on the Gold Coast to its first drive thru operation in 2009 at Worongary, Zarraffa's has continued to evolve alongside Australia's booming coffee culture. The company was an early innovator in the drive thru coffee space, helping redefine convenience for customers seeking café quality coffee on-the-go.

 

Today, the brand's innovative drive thru models and unique locations form a key part of the brand's growth strategy, offering customers a fast and accessible specialty coffee experience without compromising on quality or service.
