The former Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk will release her long-awaited memoir, Annastacia Palaszczuk: The Politics of Being Me' via Harper Collins on Tuesday the 28th of April. The book outlines her history-making appointment as the first woman to win the premiership of Queensland from opposition, followed by a further three consecutive terms in the position, making her Australia's longest serving female Premier.
Says Annastacia, 'Life is never easy. I wrote this book hoping to show people that a strong work ethic and strong values will help overcome any obstacle that comes your way. I led a government and won elections against the odds. I hope this book inspires the next generation to step up and get involved in their community.'
