Animation Art hits Melbourne Comic Con

Silver K Gallery, Australia's home of animation art is bringing a stunning collection of unique and in many cases rare art works to Melbourne  Comic Con this coming weekend at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre . Hundreds of beautiful  images will be available for viewing -  a must visit for any animation fan or just general lover of this wonderful art form.

Set up at Stand AO6, the gallery is turning its space into a visual timeline of pop culture, featuring fan‑favourite characters from Disney, Warner Bros, Marvel, DC Comics, Peanuts, The Simpsons, Hanna-Barbera and more. Many of the works have never been shown in Melbourne before, giving fans a fresh chance to see original animation art up close instead of just on their screens.

"Melbourne Comic Con is the perfect place to show people that the art behind their favourite characters is just as exciting as the shows and movies themselves," said Silver K Gallery Director, Colin Kaye. "We're especially excited to unveil pieces that have never been exhibited in Melbourne, and we can't wait for fans to discover them in person."

Across the weekend, visitors can browse and buy original production cels, limited‑edition prints and gallery‑exclusive collectibles, with options for both first‑time buyers and serious collectors. Silver K's team will be on hand to talk through the stories behind the artworks, how they were made, and how to start or grow a collection without needing to be an expert.

Melbourne Comic Con runs Saturday 6 June and Sunday 7 June at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Fans can find Silver K Gallery at Stand AO6.
