Gold Coast-Led Initiative Launches National Movement to Heal the "Treatment Gap" for Cancer Survivors
Announcement posted by The Golden Rose Cancer Collective 10 Jun 2026
GOLD COAST, QLD — A groundbreaking national health initiative, the Golden Rose Cancer Collective, is officially launching on June 25th to solve an unspoken crisis in the Australian healthcare system: the physical and emotional "cliff" patients drop off once active hospital cancer treatment ends.
Founded on the Gold Coast, the collective is building Australia's premier network dedicated to connecting people living with cancer to qualified complementary therapies—at no cost to the patient.
While Australia's clinical oncology framework is world-class during active treatment, thousands of survivors are sent home every year facing long-term fatigue, anxiety, and physical recovery hurdles without a clear roadmap or financial support. The Golden Rose Cancer Collective bridges this vital gap by connecting practitioner networks nationwide to provide seamless, holistic post-treatment care.
"We are uniting traditional medicine and holistic practitioner networks across Australia so that no cancer survivor has to navigate their recovery alone, or be priced out of the support they desperately need." says Faye.
The invitation-only launch event will take place on June 25th, bringing together a dedicated range of supporters, complementary health practitioners, and local leaders to establish a collaborative new standard for national cancer support.
