Epson brings next-generation projection technology to ENTECH NZ 2026

Epson will showcase its latest professional and commercial display solutions at ENTECH NZ 2026, Australia and New Zealand's longest-running AV trade roadshow and the only event dedicated to AV and entertainment technology professionals.

The centrepiece of Epson's showcase will be the EB-PQ2220B ultra-high-brightness 3LCD laser projector from Epson's flagship PQ series. Visitors will see it in action on a 120" screen paired with the LX02S short-throw lens, a combination that demonstrates how staggering light output can be deployed even where throw distance is constrained.
With a fully sealed optical engine and laser light source, the EB-PQ2220B is virtually maintenance-free for up to 20,000 hours and impervious to dust, smoke and particulate matter that plague traditional lamp-based projectors in staging and live-event environments. The projector supports 360-degree installation, edge blending, curved-surface projection, lens position memory and Art-Net control - features that rental and staging companies need when rigging for concerts, broadcast backdrops and immersive events.
For attendees, the value is clear: fewer service calls, no filter changes and a sealed design that retains brightness and colour accuracy tour after tour. The LX02S lens option proves that even the most demanding large-venue brightness can be adapted to space-limited corporate ballrooms, museums and houses of worship.
Then, paired with compatible Epson projectors, the ELPEC01 external camera transforms projector installation from a time-consuming manual process into an automated workflow. The camera enables automatic edge-blending calibration, colour matching, geometric correction and stacking alignment across multi-projector arrays, tasks that traditionally consume hours of technician labour.

Also demonstrated with a 100" screen will be the EB-L690SE representing Epson's L-Series laser technology tailored for corporate, education and simulation markets. The projector features 4K Enhancement for razor-sharp detail, Scene Adaptive Gamma for optimised image quality in mixed content and full compatibility with the ELPEC01 camera for automated calibration.
Built-in wireless LAN with enterprise security, NFC quick-pairing and content playback capability eliminate the need for external media players in many signage and corporate messaging scenarios. The laser light source delivers up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free operation, while 360-degree projection and edge-blending support offer installation flexibility for challenging architectural environments.
For consultants and IT managers building hybrid spaces, boardrooms that double as overflow training rooms or museum exhibits that rotate content weekly the L690SE reduces complexity by combining display, processing and wireless presentation into one reliable unit.
Finally, the LightScene EV-115 will be demonstrated as Epson's answer to the rapidly converging worlds of digital signage, architectural lighting and room control. This compact 3LCD digital signage projector weighs just 6.9 kg yet delivers big-screen impact from 30" to 150".
Where the EV-115 truly shines is its integration and in enabling lighting designers to control the projector from the same lighting console that drives LED washes and moving heads and AV programmers to manage it within existing control ecosystems. Built-in content playback and content creation capabilities reduce the hardware stack, so no external player is required for scheduled signage loops.

With ultra-low power consumption (as little as 112 W in Eco mode) and whisper-quiet operation down to 22 dB, the EV-115 fits into retail boutiques, luxury hospitality, galleries and corporate receptions where conspicuous technology is unwelcome.
