RIMPA Live 2026 to bring information professionals together as the industry faces rapid change

As AI, privacy, information governance, cybersecurity and digital transformation reshape how organisations manage and use information, the role of records and information management professionals is evolving rapidly.

From 20-22 October 2026, RIMPA Live Convention 2026 will bring the R&IM community together at Royal Randwick Racecourse, Sydney, with an online attendance option also available.

Under the banner YOUR INDUSTRY. YOUR PEOPLE. YOUR FUTURE., the three-day Convention will explore the issues shaping the profession, from AI and privacy to governance, risk, emerging technology, leadership and digital transformation.

Big ideas and fresh perspectives

RIMPA Live 2026 will feature a multi-stream program bringing together practitioners, industry leaders and technology experts to share practical insights, challenge established thinking and explore what comes next for R&IM.

Dominic Thurbon will deliver the Convention's keynote presentation on 21 October, while Lindsey Leigh Pearson, CEO of Future Untamed, will close the event on 22 October with her Grand Finale keynote, The Future is Personal: A Billion Little Moments.

Beyond the program, delegates can connect with the wider R&IM community through networking, the RIMPA Live Hackathon, the A Night at the Movies Welcome Reception and the A Regal Masquerade Diamond Ball and RIMPA Awards.
