Grammy-nominated Musician Jack Johnson Partners With Farm My School

Every dollar donated to Farm My School ahead of or during Jack Johnson's Melbourne show will be matched by the Johnson Ohana Foundation - up to $2,500 - with donors going in the draw with the chance to two tickets to the Sidney Myer Music Bowl concert.

Farm My School has been named a local not-for-profit partner for Jack Johnson's Surfilmusic Australian Summer 2026 tour, as part of the musician's All At Once social action network, which connects fans with grassroots community organisations at every stop of his tour.
 
The funding means every donation will go twice as far, directly supporting Farm My School and its offerings such as weekly veggie boxes, trainee placements, hands-on learning for students growing food from the ground up, community workshops to upskill participants and corporate team building experiences.

Farm My School CEO and co-founder James McLennan said the partnership was a significant moment for the organisation.

"To have someone of Jack Johnson's standing putting a spotlight on what we're doing here on the Bellarine and Colac is honestly surreal," McLennan said. "This isn't just a donation drive, it's an opportunity to double the impact. Every dollar donated means more students learning where their food comes from, more trainees getting a chance
to engage in real-world experiences, and more families accessing fresh, healthy produce. It all adds up to stronger, more connected, and more food secure communities."

Located at two sites - Bellarine Secondary College and Colac Secondary College - with plans to build a third farm in 2027, Farm My School transforms underutilised school land into commercial market gardens, teaching students practical skills in regenerative agriculture while supplying affordable, nutrient dense produce to their local
community through a veggie box program.

The partnership is a reflection of Jack Johnson's long-standing commitment to equitable food systems wherever he tours.

Donate to Farm My School online ahead of the show, or in person at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on the night of Wednesday 18th November. All donations up to a combined $2,500 will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Johnson Ohana Foundation, with every donor automatically entered into the draw to win two tickets to the
Melbourne concert.
